Tigers - Through Their Eyes
This collection of oil paintings focuses on the wild, inviting the viewer to see through the eyes of each tiger. I’m exploring themes of survival, instinct, and humanity’s impact on the environment. Tigers' retreat from danger, escaping to peace arriving in untouched lands. Images of roses, birds, and butterflies weave stories of chaos, loss, and hope. Through vibrant color and movement, I’m attempting to explore the tiger’s perception of humanity - a mirror reflecting our recklessness regarding the planet, the chaos of commercialization, and the fragile hope for renewal amidst loss and tension.

In this painting the roses represent a false beauty. Roses are breathtaking in their natural state, yet are often over-commercialized sold in convenience stores on holidays. The tiger, crashing through the roses, senses the earth’s core suffers from humans’ reckless need to mass-produce. The birds represent nature, money, and chaos.

Sensing imminent danger before humans can, the tiger races through the jungle to the rescue.
Transcendent Butterflies // oil on canvas, 58” x 39” $4200

Sub Rosa // oil on canvas, 40 x 30, $2300.-
In this painting the architecture speaks of humanity’s creative brilliance contrasted with our tendency to overlook excess in our relationship to others and the planet. The tigers roam freely across a vast landscape, lounging amid an opulent pool in a world where humans have vanished, reduced to mere statues. An owl soars overhead, its gaze revealing a deep understanding of humanity’s downfall.
In ancient Rome, a ceiling adorned with rose paintings signaled to guests that all conversations at the event were strictly confidential, never to be disclosed. The consequences for breaking this trust were severe.
Tess’ Dream // oil on canvas, 18 x 24, $1400.-
A harmonious realm where humans and animals honor each other's lives and freedoms.
